ELA: Study guide questions due Friday. Ch. 7-12 summaries due Monday. Outsiders final test on Monday.

PRE-ALGEBRA: none; Test Oct. 15th on chapter 2
MATH: pg. 64 in journal; test Oct. 15th on chapter 3
SCIENCE: 30 most common elements quiz Friday (names & symbols). Two emails were sent to students w/ assignments: 1. Formative Assessments 3 & 4 - Students will need the periodic table in their notebook. They may also use their notes. 2. Element Trading Cards - Follow the directions. We will work on these in class on Thursday. They are due on Monday.
Extra Credit: Making Mixtures Take Home Lab - Students were given a copy of this lab sheet. It is due by Monday and must be filled out and the questions answered in complete sentences! Students were instructed to use food items (no household chemicals without parent consent and supervision!) such as water and salt, water and pepper, vinegar and sugar, etc. It is worth 8 points and could replace a missing assignment(s) up to 8 points.
